Congratulations to BRW National Student Share Portfolio Award Winners

AHAN member Albert Lau (Honours 2003) has achieved an extraordinary result in the inaugural BRW National Student Share Portfolio Award 2003: two share portfolios in the national top ten. Of the 4600 entries nationwide, UNSW School of Accounting student Grant Raynor was also in the top ten. More

National Honours Colloquium

The National Honours Colloquium has attracted some of the best Honours students from a cross-section of universities across Australia and New Zealand to UNSW's Kensington campus for an outstanding one-day event.  The Colloquium, held on 20 August 2004, featured presentations from 4th year Honours students in Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Business and Information Systems and Management on their thesis research-in-progress. Alumni Meet the CEO - Terry Davis - 28 April 2004

Accounting Honours Alumni returned to UNSW to hear Terry Davis, CEO of Coca-Cola Amatil, in conversation with noted financial jounalist Helen Trinca. Terry spoke candidly about the issues he faces as CEO. His responses to questions from Helen and the audience were personal and relevant, with helpful real-life examples and some playful one-liners. About the Accounting Honours Alumni Network

The Accounting Honours program at UNSW has been in existence since 1961, when we graduated our first student. We now have a sizeable alumni and decided that a Network would not only be feasible but deliver tangible benefit to all stakeholders. The creation of the Network will provide an important space for alumni to reconnect with their Honours cohort (most of who have/continue to realize successful careers in academia and business) and the University community.  More
