Casual employment


The School of Accounting is seeking to establish a list of eligible casual teaching staff.

The School delivers undergraduate (eg. BCom) and postgraduate programs (eg. MCom, MFin). Applicants who seek to be placed in the database should have appropriate teaching experience at a university level and at least an undergraduate degree, preferably at Honours level, majoring in the area in which they seek to teach.


Applicants seeking to teach on postgraduate programs should have relevant postgraduate qualifications.

Essential Criteria

  • An honours degree qualification or equivalent in an accounting related discipline
  • An interest in and commitment to teaching excellence in accounting studies
  • Excellent oral communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Good organizational skills
  • Knowledge of EEO/AA principles
  • Awareness of OHS responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant OHS training

Expressions of interest can be lodged in the following ways:

1. Complete and submit the Expression of Interest online.

2. Email.  Download the Expression of Interest (EOI) form:
    - Expression of Interest (EOI) form in RTF format

    - Expression of Interest (EOI) form in PDF format

3. Fax. Fax your completed EOI form and CV to: Kathy Song, fax no.: (02) 9385 5925

4. Mail. Mail your printed EOI form and your CV to:

Note to students
Currently enrolled students are required to also provide their Academic Transcript.

The data from this form will be retained by the School of Accounting for 12 months from the date of first application. If you wish to be considered again after 12 months, you will be required to reapply. Submitting a form does not guarantee that any form of employment will be offered. As positions become available, suitable candidates will be contacted for an interview.
